Top positive review

First time buying a drone and have no experience using one. It was very easy and fun. The fact that there is a beginners mode so you don’t get overwhelmed of how high or how far it’s going was a big help in learning to use the controls. It has a good response time. Gps did good. It was breezy and it did fine. I wish the battery lasted longer, used all 15-20 minutes learning how to control it. The pictures were good for the value. (i’m not trying to read the date on a penny at 150ft.) Overall, when you combine all the other features that come with the HS360S, this drone is a great value.

Top critical review

Edit – upgrading my review, as I was contacted and offered a replacement drone at no charge by Holy Stone. I’m hoping that the new drone will function as expected but haven’t had the chance to take it up yet, as my time is very limited. The customer service people didn’t ask for me to adjust my review – I added two stars for their effort to make things right. Will revisit my review in the next 30 days and will add another star if this unit functions as it should.I bought this as my first drone with zero experience due to the claim that it is good for beginners. Straight out of the box, this drone was a disaster. You have to calibrate it every time you use it, and calibration takes multiple attempts to get it to work. Very unstable in the air and taking off success without it eating dirt was minimal. Support was close to non-existent. The app is crap. Half of the time it doesn’t connect to the drone. Unfortunately I waited a few weeks before I unboxed it, and thought that I was just doing things wrong, so the return window closed and I ended up stuck with it. After a couple of months of occasional re-trys to get it up in the air, I gave up due to pure frustration and purchased the DJI Mini 4 Pro, which I should have done in the first place. If you can’t afford a DJI, save up until you can, that’s my recommendation. Perfection right out of the box.
